Behind the Wonder bread. Left of the Skippy peanut butter. Under the Sanken coffee.

Still trying to figure out the what jop's point of the post is. In reply, I will say:

Bless you

Anyway, young Mr. Bux in the kitchen with his father trying to put his lunch together before a certain book would change his life forever- PB&J, crackers, apple, coffee- er, no- that would be for the other Mr. Bux in the background. If you can even call Sanka coffee. Or are the crackers for breakfast? Crackers with butter and sugar (never said a good breakfast, but then how much different is kid's cereal?)

Why reply to Tom's post? To mention you might want a second look at your signature. Not to be a spelling Nazi or anything.

I'll assume here that English is your second language, so let me explain. He rearranged the letters in MAME World on PURPOSE so that it contains the word "meow" in it. Meow being the sound a cat makes when an American describes it (onomatopoeia).

Obviously I missed that. Just because you noticed it doesn't mean everyone who speaks English first (or only) has and would.

Had something else in there I removed on second consideration, but let me replace it with what I replied to jop:

Bless you.

You mean the ones full of heroin that Gerald Mcraney has shoved up his ass? Don't know which is worse, doing Wonderbread commercials or being a drug mule. Maybe Simon & Simon will get picked up and things will get better...lol...

That's what you were looking for right?

Pessimist: Oh, this can't get any worse!
Optimist: Yes, it can!

But what about the important question? Is it Smucker's or Welch's?

Neither. That ain't jelly, that's a jar of motherfuckin' PDQ.

Kid's already poured a preparatory inch of milk into his glass and now he's going to chocolate that bitch up all the way to the rim.

What do you mean, neither? That looks a lot like Welch's to me. Not that I can read it.

Notice the question mark- I was thinking it looked like some store brand, but you may be right- it does look similar to an old Welch's label, though certainly different from today's.

edit: Can't find an exact match at the moment, but the writing at the top does seem like it might say "Welch's"

Yeah, that's the one. I actually haven't had any in the house in... probably that long.

Bingo! For a moment I thought it was an old (forgotten) brand called 'Ideal' (from looking for vintage grape jelly).

...And, uh... yeah. The misspelling of Mameworld was on purpose. I was on a computer at work and didn't have the forums bookmarked. So, I would just type 'mameworld forums' into google. One day I messed it up and typed it 'mameowrld', and I thought it was funny.

If you do that now, and it doesn't autocorrect, google recommends http://www.mameworld.info/ubbthreads/sho...part=1&vc=1

Quote:

for vedio gemas?

Haha. I was trolling Urherenow for his spelling of 'video' as "vedio". & "Gemas" just had an Engrish/kawaii flavor to it too.

Heh. That may explain the reaction I got from him for my post. Was going to go along with the "English not first language" by going Klingon on him ("Of course not, Klingon is- prepare to do battle, human") but I never did get into the Klingon language so I wouldn't be able to back that reply up. I have a few of Marc Okrand's books to look up words and phrases, but never got further than that. Now they gather dust in the age of the internet and Klingon-English (or whatever language) translators.
