List of all mame games description and genre.

Hello all.

I am using a XBMC Plugin called Rom Collection Browser.

It have an option to read a file with the description and genre of mame roms.

The file they provide for mame is a bit outdate(mame 0.139)

I could update this file with the content from http://www.arcade-history.com/

But the file they provide does not contains the category/genre

So do you know where can I find a file with the category of all mame games updated?

there's catver.ini.. and you could check Progetto EMMA.
but a really extensive list with everything in it would be history.dat, but that's just acrade history.com offline.

I did it with info from Genre.ini, mame -listxml and arcade history.

Thanks. But kodi rcb collection plugin use other format. We need to merge history, nplayer and catver. And I dont know how.

There is an example here, but its too old https://storage.googleapis.com/google-co...CB%20201202.zip

Also support this format https://github.com/billyc999/Game-database-info but its abandoned too.
