SNK USA HQ tour 1995
#332039 - 09/19/14 02:33 AM

At 2:10 you can see Nightmare Tony. He was a friend of mine and a mame contributor until he died last year from cancer. He was also the guy who released scans of the internal Neogeo documents a year or so ago. He was actually trying to get me some more proto dumps right before he died. I never heard back from him about them and the next thing I knew, people said he died. One of them was a proto of Kageki where when you defeated enemies they would scream "damn it".

Good times. Sad the Arcade era is over in the USA. Would love to see a tour of Nintendo, Sega,Capcom and Konami back in the golden age.

Good video clip. Props to Tony with helping preserve some of the stuff over the years.

old Cybertank wip at Haze's site from July 26th, 2012

Hard to believe it was a couple years ago because to me, it seems like Cybertank was emulated just last month.

A couple of comments posted by Tony about wip progress with Cybertank.

Briefly looking back at Haze's 2012 wip posts, there was good progress then with some hard to find games emulated in MAME that year....especially that one particular DECO cassette game that used to be at Electronic Corral arcade at Lakewood,CA mall for only a few months back in 1981. And then add to that the initial net_list support in MAME which started the emulation of Pong in late May 2012.
