0.154 Gauntlet Dark Legacy issues

I was messing around with 0.154 today and I am unable to load Gauntlet Dark Legacy. It gets to the 3DFX Initializing screen. Prints "loading game" and a second later part of the "image" comes up and then nothing. Is this a know issue?
I downloaded the update 0153 to 0154 roms and chds. So, I wanted to check to verify that it is working for others before I d/l entire 0154 set.
As an FYI, I tried other rom sets prior to 0154 with the same result. With previous versions of mame back to 0145 I can load it without issue.

You'll have to load sets gauntleg or gauntleg12 to get in game.

gauntleg or gauntleg12 is a different game: Gauntlet Legends. I'm talking about Gauntlet Dark Legacy.

I think that there was an update between the 0.153 to 0.154 development cycle that broke these games. I think that Haze also mentioned it (a couple of times) in his page. You'll have to wait for 0.155 (if they are fixed till then).

I talk to Tafoid about this while back. They already know about this. 
"They work in 0.153. These are SVN issues (WIP) issues."
They gonna have to use that version. 0.153 official.
