Mame Ubuntu Segmentation Fault

Hi could anyone tell me how to fix a segmentation fault when running just these games in mame please.
Last Blade Last Blade 2 King of Fighters 99 Donkey Kong
All other Neogeo games work fine in fact all my other games run fine. They load, no errors with the romset then instead of getting the ok screen it just dumps me back to the desktop. Running from a terminal just gives me the same but with "Segmentation Fault"
Thanks

Those run fine from the MAME with and without SDL 0.153 r31326. I don't have the official build anymore because of the new official builds be out soon.

Do you have any idea why I am getting this error just on those games? I can't see it being a graphic driver problem as it would have affected all the games or so I'd have thought it would have. Yet only those neogeo games are affected too. Is it a memory thing being quite large games? I am using the sdlmame from falcos ppa

We can only guess unless we have your exact platform/binary to test. I do see one commonality between most of your games (neogeo) which have been known to have issues such as crashing before start if -cheat was enabled. Donkey Kong? I dunno. AFAIK there are no issues surrounding that.
In any case, try making sure you have no game specific .ini/.cfg files, clear your NVRAM files for each game. Best way to do that is to put a fresh install in a new folder and attempt running from there.

Ah now i found my problem.
I originally tried with the sdlmame from a previous answer but still had the same problems so i disabled cheats and hey presto they all work!
Many thanks to all who helped

Oh you didn't said anything about the cheats. I don't use cheats. I'm glad that you disabled the cheats to get those to work.
