I can't tell all of the upcoming features. Looks like it has some 3d modeling capabilities....for what I don't know.
Whatcha think?

It looks like it can use Hyperspin's themes. There seems to be much more to the frontend though. I don't mind because Hyperspin is dead anyway.

GameEx has been around for a few/several years.....

At least since '08. There was some contention that Hyperspin, when it emerged, ripped some things off of GameEx.
The 3D features are obvious in the vid. Interesting, and in a way I'm surprised it's taken this long. Headsoft, that's Headkaze. So he and Tom Spiers have teamed up. This suggests it might be going at least semi-commercial. Maybe not.
All that stuff is cool and all, but I've found I prefer the old-school 'here's a list and all major images of the game on sight' kind of thing, and hence have no reason to change from my current Mala configuration. But the font and other capabilities would, for those inclined, make an old-school set-up that much nicer.
Oh, also, I wasn't happy with how difficult it was for GameEx to handle Daphne and Visual Pinball. Definite no given those.

Yes, it's been around awhile. I think the new "evolution" is a completely different animal altogether.

There has always been a charge for the full version. I don't mind, I will pay for the full version once I see what evolution can do.

I use MaLa too. I love it but it has been "dead" for years and is soooo buggy. It looks as if GameEX can have a simple design with the "game on site" as u like.
Anyhoo here's my MaLa setup. My son uploaded it to his channel.
