-- Stealth Games... (part one)
And touching some hidden switch... Turns into Cherry Master game! --
Read Luca's old X-Plan update and that is type of similar concept of what Robbie is describing in Robbie's stealth hardware update.
-- 9 January 2011
X-Plan is an unusual shoot'em up / poker combo by Subsino that uses airplanes in place of cards. The shooter is little more than a playable mock-up, and can be swapped in at the press of a button by the operator, "for urgent operation" as the manual states. "Please install those buttons at the secret area, where is most safe and operate easily" --

What are the keys to switch between the game and the Cherry clone ? Same question for the other stealth game ...
EDIT : I found the keys in the source file, so don't bother with my questions ...

Better to use TAB, and peek the valid keys.... (Need the Gregf tomato here!)

Would like to see how the control panel looked. Did it have just a joystick? How did they hide the bet buttons? Just curious.

My best guess is that has a real joystick with 2-3 buttons to play the real game (the game boots on front game).
Just use the joystick directions + the buttons to also control the gambling game.

From some games I remember (none of them are in MAME yet because hidden game was poker instead of cherry) : the cabinet is a basic one with 1 joystick, 1 player button and 2 start buttons ; then you had to perform a specific special trick in the "crappy" arcade game to switch to the poker game; the only way to go back to the arcade game was to reset the cabinet with a manual external switch, and if you wanted to reset the credits, you had to press a button which was located in or near the front door (where you insert the coins) ...
