MAMEWorld Forums - EmuChat - Roms that work 1 time and go bogus?

Hi,

I'm using xbmcbuntu with rcb in xbmc to launch mame.
All was well.

Yesturday we played some games like metalslug3 but today it *loads and crashes.

This morning we played some double dragon, three wonders,... Now it *loads and craches.

*loads = till 100% and crash.

Not all games have this behaviour. Some games just keep giving.

There was no system update as far as I know. There had been reboots. (htpc goes down if not used).

I have replaced the roms with the original ones as they worked the first time.

Also tried deleting the .mame folder containing the output files. no result.

Is this something known?
What is it that prevents these game from running again?

EDIT :
By adding, removing roms I accidently removed some "bios" roms. Problem solved now.
