I must say, not bad. Supports only 800x600 on USB2.0, but it handles it nicely. I'm sure I could break it if I tried, but seems to do the everyday stuff OK. Plenty fast enough to run as the DMD LCD on the virtual pin.
Interested to see what it would do on USB3.0 (says it will do 1920)...

You can get a PCIe x1 USB3 card pretty cheap. A price range of $16~$20 will give you at least a dozen options.

Only have one of those, using it for the video card that started the whole issue....
Only need it for 800x600 anyway, so it appears to be just perfect.

800x600 is perfect for these adapters. Anything higher and it crawls.
They are great when used with projectors.
If you are going to get a USB2VGA 3.0 make sure it is compatible with the MAC. That way if you want to sell it on, you will get more for it.
