I updated to the latest version of MAME and now I can't load WAR GODS anymore! I know how to lay out the ZIP (ROM) and the CHD files, but it still will not load. CHD error... I have read around that MAME changed the way CHDs are read? What am I doing wrong now or what am I missing? It used to load and play just fine. [Re: coolwavepic] #323952 - 03/30/14 04:16 PM Reply A newer version was added that supports 2 different monitor types. Since it's newer it was set as parent and the old parent moved to clone. This can happen with every game in mame. People can either use clrmame, stay with the same mame version indefinitely, or have a lifelong pain in the ass. I should put that in the forum header. AFAICT the last change was committed in June 2012 (r16680) & released as part of 0.147 in September 2012. If the previous version the OP was running is before 0.147 that then that will be his problem. Pages: 1
