Hi all, anyone familiar with the game Pound for Pound? Boxing game in MAME. I'm trying to play it but can only through left punches. Both A and B buttons through left punches or block when help together. I know that you're supposed to be able to through right punches and hooks etc. Anyone?!

You turn the boxer to the other side to do the other punches I think.

Are you using a trackball or mouse? Watch the demo before the game starts, you can throw hooks and crosses w/ the trackball while holding down the a or b button. Ctrl is just for a jab with the dominate hand of your fighter. Also crank the analogue sensitivity up to 100 if you really want to move around.

Thanks man. Actually I'm only using my joystick and the A B buttons. I guess I'll need to get a trackball. You said it works with a mouse too? Where do I turn up the sensitivity? Really appreciate your help.

Yeah, playing games designed for a trackball with an 8-way joystick or even an analog thumbstick is an exercise in frustration. A mouse is adequate for shooting games like Cabal, but for something like Marble Madness or Pound for Pound there's no substitute for a real trackball.

You cant go past a real trackball for proper feel in the various trackball-powered bowling games either.
