Can anybody tell me (or is there a place where this is detailed) which chip in "Street Fighter II" has which meaning?
An American version of the game has chips with the following labels: SF2 9 SF2 18 SF2 19 SF2U 28x SF2U 29B SF2U 30x SF2U 31x SF2U 35x SF2U 36B SF2U 37x SF2U 38x
(x = revision letter: A, B, C, D etc.)
And now I'd really be interested which chip is responsible for which part of the game. Does anybody know it or is there any list?

The logical place to start would be the examining the MAME source for documentation.
