I'm pretty sure I'm not in Arlington

WTF, internet? Here I am wondering why things are a bit slow. Attempt a steam purchase, it tells me my ip indicates I'm in Arlington, TX, rather than NJ.
Think I'll hold off on that, thanks. Something's wrong.

Go into your router setup and manually set your primary and secondary DNS to use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 instead of the DNS servers that are auto-pulled from your ISP.

Currently have the modem off for a couple more hours, as that sometimes solves the other issue I have (suspect bad equipment at ISP).
One site I went to did get my isp's location right, so it was the DNS. I'll look at the router setup when I turn the PC back on, thanks.
