Doing my dishes. Windows above the sink face the back yard. I hear a WRRRRROOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA come out of nowhere. Then a Cessna comes into view, hard angle, super low, fast. Had he continued on that angle he would have hit the roof of the houses behind me easily. Manages somehow to pull up and gain some altitude, then kicks some very sharp rudder without much aileron to get in line with the municipal runway 1~2 miles west of me. If he was lucky he made it all the way there...
Looked like one of the training rentals, couldn't be sure. If it was, I know a trainer who needs some new boxers.

I wouldn't say I'm unlucky, I've had my equal share of good.
It does seem like the weirdest shit seems to find me though. I've had plenty of situations in my life, good and bad, where I've had to say "Who else does this happen to?".
For instance:
Work trip overseas this week --- Good, very lucky to get to travel.
Work may be closed Mon/Tues due to cold temps --- Shit, can't get things I need for the trip...
Takeoff temp Tuesday will be -7F --- Eeeek. Should I be flying in that? I'm sure there will be delays at least.
As I enter German airspace on Wed, traffic controllers are set to strike --- What_The_Fuck. Seriously? Delays? Landing elsewhere? How do you handle that?
What was a simple book a flight, take care of business, and get home...has turned overly complicated. And I haven't even packed a suitcase.
