Identifying a bootleg board?

Hi all,
I picked up a bootleg board a few days ago and have been doing some repair work on it and after fixing one of the clocks for a Z80 I found it's supposed to be some football game (UK football, not American). Graphics are glitch so I don't get any text for a title but I know this much:
The game uses 3 Goldstar Z80s, not sure on clock but two are for the main game and one for the sound. The sound chip is a single YM2203 and hooked up to a mono sound amp. The board has something like 14~16 ROMs on it and the graphics are all done by 74-series logic by the looks of it. It's a jamma bootleg and the dates on the chips say the game is 1989-1990.
Any ideas? Thanks

Probably Tecmo World Cup '90. You could dump some roms and romident them, some probably match the official or a boot in mame.

With three Z80s and a YM2203 it could be Kick and Run, but there are a lot of different soccer games running on three Z80s. Why don't you dump it and see if any of the ROMs match something in MAME?

I might do if it's not so easy to fix, although being a bootleg soccer game I'm not so motivated to get it fixed as they seem to be almost worthless working

If it's Tecmo World Cup 90 (there were tons of bootlegs of it) then you can convert it to Pacman I think.

Lol that would be awesome, but what set would be needed?

You'll have to google it. I don't think it was put in mame because...iirc a mamedev might have made it, or someone close to the project at the time. I think it was made in the late 90s.

I see, no worries then. I'll try get the board fixed and see what it's worth and if it can be modded.

I'd check if it's TWC90 and convertible first because if it's not it's totally worthless for anything besides testing a setup. That's like the least valuable pcb on the planet. But if it's a Jamma Pacman it's a different story.

It only works on the original board, not the bootlegs.
It was done as a joke, it doesn't really belong in MAME. I heard it didn't run in MAME very well either (which is probably a reason to add it as the emulation can be made more accurate).
