It allows the machine to prevent you inserting money when the game isn't ready to account for it. Because real money is involved, there needs to be some minimal level of reliability and dependability. Coin locks either prevent coins from being inserted or return them immediately. This way the system can ensure it doesn't take coins unless you're definitely going to get credited for them. Pages: 1
