Who's right ?

So, I just compiled MAME 0.150 (the x64 version from the official website)
Then I looked at various websites and softwares and couldn't find answers to my question...
What is the real number of roms in MAME ?
Dats in RomManager gives me: 29219 roms
My frontend, EmuLoader, gives me: 29436 roms
And then, in http://www.progettoemma.net/ they give: 29225 roms
So who's right ? Where can I find official numbers ?

all numbers are correct...since every tool got its own interpretation on how the count is calculated...if a rom is listed as nodump it might be ignored by cmpro but of course it's listed within the MAME XML output...
but actually...nobody should care about the rom count
...similar for sets....cmpro for example adds sets for sample-only sets which are referenced within MAME's XML output, while MAME itself doesn't list it as a set but only as a reference..
So...stop counting 
do a xslt xpath count on the MAME xml game or rom elements if you want...

Emu Loader get ALL game entires from -listxml output, including sets with no ROMs, device sets, bios sets.
the games count in EL is accurate.
you can hide all device sets with no ROMs in the MISC filter (main tool bar). Just check "Hide Device Sets With no ROMs" checkbox. Games count will lower to 28731

Yeah Agreed.
I used to crack my brain on that one for a while, but it's no use.

For all of the cool stuff it does, I think my favorite EL features are the filters in that MISC tab.
