Look again, a good part of those are marked 'resolved', some are marked 'closed' and the rest will be fixed eventually - though not necessarily in time for u2. That's how it's always been. It doesn't make any difference, mametesters have bugs logged that go way back to version 0.35. Bugs get discovered and fixed all the time. I don't have any idea why it's taking so long between u releases this time but you always have the option of downloading the latest source and it compile yourself, or you can try to find a recent svn build somewhere.
