I got another undumped Street Fighter II, 910411 Japan. The King of Street Fighter II still reigns supreme.
Shoutime got a weird version of Twin Cobra that might be a proto.

I guest people got tired of playing these. Probably why these are showing up.
They are playing the Super Street Fighter VI, Street Fighter VI and Street Fighter X Tekken more often now? I could be wrong. lol

If you want to talk about the mainstream, of course they are. And Sheep Happens on the iPhone is getting more plays in the world than Circus Charlie. I'm not making posts here for mainstream gamers though. We are a small niche community that appreciates gaming history etc.

If i never saw another Street Fighter game, i really wouldn't care. It is not so much the game that i dislike, but the fact that players only ever choose bloody Ryu or Ken.
Capcom could have just released this game with only 2 playable characters and saved themselves time.

Bullshit. I play as Chun Li or Dhalsim in SF2, Chun Li or Nanase in SFEX2+, Chun Li or Guy in SFZ2A... But of a theme, I know. There are plenty of people who like Sagat, Guile and Zangief are old favourites for lots of people, and Sakura is pretty popular.

Well, i always use Guile and trying to get a match on MAMEhub was always pure hell. Pity we didn't hook-up on there before i gave up and uninstalled it, but i got sick of the endless stream of haduken spamming bastards.
Your argument about Sakura (whose moveset was a cheap rip-off of Ryu's anyway, just with added panty-flashes to get 14 year old boys excited) is void, because she didn't exist until Alpha 2 and this topic is about the earlier SFII.
