Hello everyone,
My computer (built in 2009) happens to have a 9-pin serial port, which looks excactly the same as the ones on commodores, ataris and that sort of 8-bit machines. Does that mean that i would be able to plugin an old Joystick ( ie competion pro, zipstick, quickshot, powerplay) and that it would work?
Kind regards, Diede

No, and don't try it or you may fry something. A PC-AT serial port and an Atari-style joystick are both DE-9 connectors but electrically they're completely different and incompatible.
