pal10l8.u1c error in minigolf

Minigolf won't play. Error pops up in windows:
pal10l8.u1c NOT FOUND
u01508001100b.u20f NOT FOUND
It's as if mameui is looking for it in the rom and no rom I have seen for download has it. Some sat those files are in the folder...they are not.
Help. This game worked years ago on old pc

exactly. can't find those anywhere. All sites say they are part of the zip file, but when zip looked at, they are not in there.

Get a minigolf.zip released after 0.148u1, the (Understanding of) the hardware of minigolf got last changed then.

That makes sense but I ordered the newest set a couple months back, ie newer than 1.48u1. Any download I see says its part of the zip, just turns out to be false.

Ordered the set? That doesn't sound right.
There's really limited things w can do for you here besides give friendly advice.
I have to admit though, that both the minigolf.zips I downloaded (from my usual, sort of reliable places) claiming to be 0.149 failed to boot in my 0.149, because of those missing files.

There really is nothing else to discuss here - you need to search for your retroroms on the net for yourself. Locking.
