(Ok, that does it. I am going to stop being scared if I cause another sh*tstorm on threads, and...I can't let this affect me and future activity on the forums. This has been buliding up inside me since the Panic Park thread, and now, what I have been wanting to say since I joined the forums.)
From April 5, 2007, Ville forced the SHARC display list not to execute and it got past the boot screen. Now, I wonder if it still works, and from the latest release, can it display 3D graphics?

Racing Jam crashes right now, IIRC.

The SHARC display list *is* the 3D graphics - it's the instructions to the 3D hardware what to draw where. So suppressing it means you don't have 3D graphics.

Oh, ok. Then how did Ville, on Sept 1st, 2012, hack up the game to get it to boot up? I just want to at least get that "SHARC: Loop stack underflow" problem.

If I (or Haze or anyone else with SVN commit access) knew, the game would boot up. Comprende?
Bottom line: If you have this much of a boner for this game, you need to buy the cabinet. Even if Ville got it running tomorrow, the cabinet will give a better experience.
