Another one bites the dust: Golfland

Golfland in El Monte CA, has closed and has been leveled. It's just a dirt lot now.
This is the last arcade in the area (that I know of). And was a popular testing grounds for many arcade games.
Dragons's Liar was tested there, as well as Missile Command Deluxe, and many more.

Apparently that was 2.5 years ago though. The economy has gotten better since, at least in the places I have been.

That one's in LA, it's not the famous Golfland in Milpitas where Atari tested everything. As you can see, that one is still open.
