couple casino games crashing

Was just going through some casino games and noticed that a few crashed when trying to launch them. I deleted any files using these rom names in my mame folder but still crashes. I'm using mame64 148u5
garage_5e garage_9 gnomed islandb islandc island_5 island_6
Anyone having the same problem?
Thanks

None of these crash on my end. They boot up and flash Hard Test Passed & Init Machine messages in an endless cycle.
Also, island_5 = island2_5 & island_6 = island2_6

mine work fine... In case anyone doesn't know how to reset & play: FYI- Hit F2, go down to init, hit start, hold down z for 5 secs, return to menu & exit, hit F2 then F3 and the nvram is reset to play.

Pessimist: Oh, this can't get any worse!
Optimist: Yes, it can!

It won't let me get that far. I launch the game and it gets stuck at initializing. Any ideas what I should do?
Thanks

I already know how to do that. All of the others work except the ones I mentioned. Here is what I'm getting.

the fact that the stack crawl mentions things which are not used by the game you ran (like cdda and pokey) seems to suggest that the issue is due to miscompilation of the exe
did you compile it by your own? if so, I suggest to recompile after deleting the obj/ folder (clean compile)

... until you find out that those games cheat (the double up game is a staged "win-lose" game rather than a true (fair) 50/50 double up).
Even if you save-state before the next set of cards or stage, if the game wants you to lose that round, no matter what "random" cards are drawn, you will always lose to it, even if it's a 3 (in this case, your card will ALWAYS be a 2 if the dealer had a 3, regardless of which stack of cards you chose - and reloading will always give you the SAME card on any given selection, e.g. a 2 of diamonds or whatever). I think I quit playing those Igrosoft games about 2 minutes after I ran them!

Did a fresh compile svn 23156 and I'm still getting the same errors on the previous games.

I don't mean to nitpick, but you linked to the X64 version and your command prompt shows you ran "mame garage_5e" instead of "mame64 garage_5e"
If you renamed the executable for some odd reason, then I'm asking myself what else got modified for this problem to happen.
You might consider extracting MAME_0.148u5b_64-bit to a fresh folder then create a fresh mame.ini (on a secondary drive if possible) and see if you get the same crashes on a fresh setup.
Did you know you can create a shortcut to cmd.exe and then move the shortcut into your MAME path, so it eliminates you having to CD

I had already tried (64bit on MacOSX) and it does not crash here plus, as I said, the stack crawl makes no sense...
I don't know exactly what could cause the issue, given that you have the same problem with a freshly compiled build, sorry

I deleted the mame ini and created a new one -cc still didn't work. I renamed my mame.exe to mame64.exe and created a new -cc and now it works. Weird just by changing the name of the exe it would crash on only those games but works now.
Thanks

Oddly enough, I renamed my mame64 to mame then launched all the games and they still worked without any freezing or crashing, so I'm unsure what the problem really was.
Anyway, glad you got it fixed somehow
