Alpine ski bug?

I'm using mame148u5 64bit and on the command I run mame alpine and when you play the game you can't crash. Like there is a cheat enabled but I didn't enable it in the command line. When I try it on mameui64 you crash when you hit something

Weird I can't crash and I'm using the same build you posted here. I don't even have the cheat file in the mame directory and like I said from the command-line I just type mame alpine and I can't crash. I don't have any extra alpine files in any folders to delete also. I can crash using set 2 rom (alpinea)

Check your DIPs. There is an "Invulnerability (Cheat)" entry 2nd to the last, which I'd bet is set to ON... either by mistake or purpose. You can clear this by deleting your .cfg, of course.

I didn't even know that was in the tab settings that cheat lol but I deleted the cfg file before I even looked to see that it was turned on which I'm sure it was.
