What would be great is if a storage container with thousands of them surfaced and it made them all worthless.

They'll dig it up under the same parking lot where all of those 2600 ET carts are buried.

I really will have to check out the local thrift shops. Even if I don't find a $15,000 holy grail, I wouldn't mind adding a few more common titles to my "collection" for cheap. I wouldn't have thought NES carts would show up very much at thrift shops anymore. It's been 20+ years since everyone abandoned the NES for the next generation, I just assumed all of those closets and attics had been cleaned out by now.

Makes you wonder if someone affiliated with Good will set that up on purpose for the publicity.

They already have that Good will song rockin the radio.

The best I have ever done with Good Will is buy a Microvision game for a quarter and selling it for $40 bux.

What I want to know is whether this thing has been dumped or not and if it hasn't whether dumping it will affect the value

The worst part is the idiot at the store had her open it, reducing its value by $5-8,000!!!!

She should have kept it sealed! I mean, you can verify it with an xray machine!

Geez, wheat an idiot!

I wouldn't bother. You can get them on ebay for the $8 range and save the time.

Someone should dump it and scan the box and instructions and then we can hope perfect replicas get made where nobody can tell the difference.

The article's not totally clear, but it sounds like she'd opened the shrinkwrap before getting to the store.

There's a Photoshop of that annoying Macklemore video waiting to beocme the top of this forum after Gay Data gets old though ;-)

Man, is Smitty's anti-white trash sentiment sparking up?

I got the idea the lady opened it. Which yes was dumb.

I don't know what white trash has to do with anything. I just think the NES collectors who pay thousands of dollars for these exercise games are douche bags is all.
