Naugles making a comeback?

Okay....so the Dunkin Donuts fans here in soCal await return of their favorite breakfast snack.
Back in 1970s and 1980s, there used to be a far superior fast food place that made great food such as the tacos that were better than Del Taco and Taco Bell. Taco Bell's tacos were better until Pepsico bought out the company along with other companies during 1980s and messed up the menus. Taco Bell food is not what it used to be compared to 1970s.
I was doing a search for something else and then came across an interesting link.
It is a page that fans of Naugles were posting comments remembering Naugles great foods when Naugles used to be in business then. I recall the Naugles location near Traffic Circle in Long Beach because I went there a few times. And it appears a former Builders Emporium [a long ago closed home improvement center] went to that same Naugles back in the day.
If things work out, it looks as though Naugles might make a return appearance. So for any soCal residents here, keep an eye out on homepage and twitter account to see what is going on. It would be outstanding if Naugles does return because their food was worth it.

I used to work at Builders Emporium in Long Beach off the Traffic Circle. There was A Naugles right across the alley from us. The Builders people and the Naugles people used to hang quite a bit so we got totally taken care of. I just to LOVE the Taco Salads. But they used make me a Taco Salad burrito. Outrageous!!!!!!

We had Naugles around here. I loved their beef burritos. I would make a trip to California to have it again if it were the same. Del Taco took over Naugles around here and I thought they all closed. I found out there were a couple in St. Louis. I ate there a couple of times. Good, but not the same as Naugles. All are now closed :-(

I know it might not be quality level compared to your turf, but Naugles was the place that had best fast food taste that almost matches restaurant quality imo. Del Taco and the modern era Taco Bell (owned by Pepsico) don't even come close. Had Taco Bell still retained the previous owners, the Taco Bell food might be almost as good as Naugles....but Pepsi ruined Taco Bell's menu and food quality as well.

Lucky them....there in Visalia, CA. The city should close down all the fast food places there, convert the buildings to BT and reopen all the joints with the BT menu. The residents might appreaciate that rather than suffer with McD stuff.

Can't happen. We've a sports report guy here with a very consistent worse-than-50/50 record predicting NFL games, and he says SF will beat the Falcons and Baltimore will beat the Patriots. After the 49ers win, the Ravens will have to lose to maintain his record.
For the record, though, I'd rather see NE go down.
