Hard to tell from the WIP shot, but it looks much better than before. A lot of the details, you might not see by just playing the game, but you can tell when you zoom in farther.
In other words, I feel much better about the quality now =D
Just looked at Rampage again... that's another one I'm gonna have to go back and look at later.
I just know more about what I'm doing now, than I did years ago, to the point where I feel I can probably start cleaning up a lot of the stuff on the WIP page now.

Yes, one thing that continues to amaze me about graphics packages is how BOTTOMLESS they are in terms of what there is to know. It seems like I learn one small thing every week that would have helped me immensely had I known it years ago. I'm currently plodding along on the control panel artwork for Wizard of Wor, which won't be done for some time yet; but I discovered the ink pen tool last month, which is WAY more feasible for doing all those reddish-brown squiggles in the background than point-to-point tracing was.
