We are all forgetting the elusive Taito title: Toasters and Chainsaws Once that appears, we can all die.. (about 5:10 in video)

Haha, wow. I like the footage of Wild Western after the mention...
Apparently some joker at IGT found out about this and created and pushed through a quarter-slots machine with the name of "Chainsaws and Toasters"
My guess: Toasters and Chainsaws was just a fake name to throw off the news crew, and the programmers had too much time on their hands and so made up a fake marquee. We might never know.
Hm, actually it looks pretty easy to track down the two Taito programmers in the video, so perhaps I'll do something sometime.

It wouldn't suprise me if Taito had a load of different marquees made up for when people were shown round, just to make sure what they were working on didn't get leaked.

Quote: hey, yeah, I actually talked to both Rex Battenberg and Mark Blaszczyk ... To sum up though, yes, as you say it was a fake name to throw people off the trail for that news report, since people were so secretive about what they were making back in those days.
According to Brandon, the Chainsaws and Toasters slot machine is not related, which is quite bizarre.
