I've added a PRELIMINARY multilanguage support to the site. For now it only affects game pages, and translation is still incomplete, still it is a start (and if I don't start, I'll never complete.....). You can choose your preferred language from the flags under the game image, choice is persistent by saving a cookie so sites like mametesters will not have to make any change, users willing to see the page in english will only have to set it once. You can anyway add "&lang=en" to your links to directly open the english version.
Translation is still not including search engine, and some of the information I'm storing in the db in italian, will have to work this out. But it loads history.dat in english, and I believe this is the most important point (the rest is easily guessable

When the multilanguage support will be completed, it will be possible to add all the languages you want, through a dictionary file I will release for public use.

Minor change: if you want to read the source code, now the game page will open the corresponding source page on mamedev.org. I believe that it is better a redirect than outdated information, hope you agree...

I had started this about 5 months ago. It got stuck because of too many pending things and arriving tired at home from work not willing to think about coding (I’m NOT a programmer, I’m a freight forwarder!!!!) so I decided that if I wanted to finish it I needed to publish so that I will be FORCED to complete, as I hate half-done things.

I also have half a dozen other pending things to do on progettoemma, say, update all the image sets… Hope it will be the good time to do it

Looks really great, s_bastian! That type of option comes in very handy.

When you complete the work, I'll make the translation to my mother tongue. Thank you for adding this nice feature.

Maybe your new nickname should be "cutebutcorrect."
