[resolved] Lay file code to fill only the black bars

Hi Guys,
Trying to make a bezel image to fill the black bars in the attached image.
my res is 1920 x 1080
looks like 240 px width for the black
which makes the play area 1440 x 1080

Was saving the image as interlaced and it didn't like it one bit

doh,
made a custom one as per psd file and it only displays diagonal white lines.
I got the vertical one working without issues.
anyideas?

tried reducing res and same issue, also tried multiple programs to export png image
bezel code im using is attached

I got the same issue you did, which told me there's something wrong with how the file was being saved.
Opened it up in Photoshop, went to re-save it, and when the interlace option came up, "interlaced" was checked. I forget why, but this is bad for MAME. Change it to none, and it works just fine.
Whatever program you are using to create your images, make sure to turn interlacing off.
