Mess Bounty Bob Strikes Back

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but was curious if anybody could get this game to run under mess146u5 for the C64 atari800 or the atari 5200. Every one I tried the game just doesn't load and it shows that it is supported for these systems. The only systems I can get this game to run on is the spectrum and the amstrad in mess. So I'm not sure if this is broken or a bug for the other emulators.

I'm using a little older version of MESS. I can't get Bob to work with MESS in Atari 5200 or Atari 800XL. I can get them to work in the Altirra emulator just fine. I can't get Bob to work in C64 in MESS either but it works just fine in the Vice emulator.

it works if you load it using
LOAD"*",8,1
it does not work if you load it using
LOAD"*",8
some games are known to require this to load the correct prg from disk.
try latest svn build (http://bobz38.free.fr/mess_autobuild/)

Let's resurrect this thread and fast forward to MAME 0.167. How do we get this game to work on the a800 or a5200?

Until there is a Developer that has the interest and know how work with and maintain the driver - it may not work for a long time. I, too, have a soft spot for Atari computers and game systems.
