I've played it a lot in the arcade. Like most Gaelco games it's super fun but also super short. It will lose a little something going from the original controls to analog stick on a gamepad but will still be fun.

Demul is starting to become like MAME to me, except things will be hacked to be playable on PCs. I know that ATV Track has similar CPUs and GPUs to the Naomi/Dreamcast, but still

If he really does those things, then fine, that's a good step. It was an objective viewpoint based exclusively on the closed-source status of the emu; it had nothing to do with whatever the authors do on the side that has far less visibility to the average Demul user. Anyway, opening the source wouldn't be that much more of a reach and would probably benefit their team in various ways too. But whatever, that's my armchair quarterbacking for the day.

Not true. Cah4e3's a nice guy, but he isn't in charge. Wind does the heavy-duty RE and there are certain things (Naomi 2) he's decided he will never tell us about.

Well I can get whatever info from CaH4e3. I'd wager if Wind ever actually said that it was after he was indirectly falsely accused of it and then decided to fulfill the rumor out of spite.

Nope. I asked Cah4e3 about it a long time ago (back in '09-ish) before I even knew Wind existed and that was the answer I got. I still have the reply in my MW inbox, I'd be happy to quote the conversation
