Out of curiosity, has anyone ever asked someone at Valadon Automation for an interview? http://www.valadon-automation.com/
Developer of: - Mill Pac (1980) - Bagman / Le Bagnard (1982) - Pickin' (1983) - Super Draw Poker (1983) - Botanic (1984) - Super Bagman (1984) - Tank Busters (1985) - Brick (prototype) (1985?) - Astrofire
I bet it's the same company...

First, you'd have to speak French.
Beyond that, though, I highly doubt you'd find anyone there who remembers anything about it. It was a long time ago, and I'll bet they laid off pretty much everyone involved when the whole venture finally went under.
Too bad, I'm sure it would be an interesting story to find out what possessed an industrial automation company to jump into video games. It really illustrates how nuts things were at the height of the video game craze.

Their page says they have extensive experience with 8-bit microcontrollers. That sounds like the sort of skill set that would get you into dodgy early 80s arcade games

They still have the same logo. Someone there has got to know something about that time in the company history. (Unless they were too drunk and/or coked up during the 80's)
Also:
I never knew that a Concrete company built the bridge of the Enterprise!!!
