I remember the first time I seen this game way back when it was first released in arcades many years ago. The problem is the version I've seen differs from the original version. I'm not sure if it was a bootleg or not but the version I saw looked liked the picture shown below ( I made the screen shot from memory). The only difference in the game as you can see is you can select your game speed from the title screen which went by stars by pressing a button on the control panel I believe.Has anybody come across this version before and is this version in Mame?

I’m convinced Mario is a hobo.
He wakes up everyday in the same clothes, runs around in sewers, and collects coins for a living.
At the end of the day, he uses the coins to buy mushrooms

Might have been a bootleg version based on the Mega Drive/Genesis version of sf2, or SNES version of sf2t (genesis pictured). That's the only version I remember stars being used.

Not if it was a game released in arcades, snes booty or not, would go in mame.
