Hilarious but it couldn't possibly have been worth the effort of watching Mr. Wizard constantly for weeks/months. Unless it was done by little kids who still enjoy it.
Hell yeah I do. While he may not have had the best on-screen presence, he made science fun and interesting for kids, and showed them how to do science experiments from materials you can find around the house.
He was the 70-80's equivalent of Bill Nye (but without all the goofy visual and sound effects needed to hold the ADD kiddo's attention)
Being wrong and admitting it is just as important for learning as being 100% right... A good teacher will tell you that you are wrong. A bad one will give you a half a gold star for good effort.
The video's great. But yeah mr. wizard's world was awesome. It was real, no gimmicks, and Don Herbert was a great human being. His show made science interesting.
