I’m convinced Mario is a hobo.
He wakes up everyday in the same clothes, runs around in sewers, and collects coins for a living.
At the end of the day, he uses the coins to buy mushrooms

Ohh. This is what I thought happened. Italie sick of the situation called his cable repairman friend who shot a strong gamma signal into space hitting one of our sattelites but destroying it. Therefore it as it traveled straight into space it landed on Raidens gleaming hat turning into a bolt of gamma lighting back to earth where it bounced off of the Statue of Liberty then striking the Empire State Building which in turn found Old School Gamers singnal completely obliterating him and his computer.Boy... I was way off.
