Well, he was metal-melting hot for a few hours. He's not so hot now. In fact he's well done. ;-)

"Married... With Children" rules! Ed O'Neill kicks ass! He kicks ass within any role he takes. :-)
The writing is spot-on. It is a satire that works quite well because it hits upon a LOT of taboos. Oh, and Anthrax played within an episode that series.
I think Married...With Children is a pretty cool guy. eh kills fembots and doesn't afraid of anything..

It's one of the most influential television shows of all-time. It did things that no other show dared to do. The show is a complete master piece. I just wish that Ed O'Neil played in more movies. The movie "Dutch" was funny.

Masterpiece? ..... Masterpiece? I'll let you have groundbreaking, but I have to draw the line after that. It was a tacky/raunchy show that loosened up the FCC's vagina enough to pave the way for other shows. That's about it.
Don't get be wrong... O'Neill. Sagal and company were good...but the show itself was no more a masterpiece than the Jerry Springer Show.

It was nothing short of a master piece. It is one of the best television sitcoms of all-time. It's even heavily studied and analyzed in some of the most prestigious film schools. I saw that on some documentary or whatever about the show.
But everyone has their own opinions.

Way short of a masterpiece. The show as a whole was one step above a dick and fart joke. It's success is solely based upon timing, and little bit of solid performing from very good actors. The rest of it was a farce, designed to garner attention buy pushing tacky envelopes.
The notion that any film school is taking a serious study of it it a bigger joke than any they ever dropped on the show.

I agree with that assessment. It's enjoyable but certainly not something I'd consider a masterpiece. I liked the clip of the show presented here but I'm really not going to go out of my way to sit down and watch more episodes on the toob.
