Hats off to Rodney King? Why? For what? What did he do? All he did was get high as a kite and drunk as hell, drive under the influence on a high speed police chase. He refused to pull over (because he thought a driving under the influence test would violate his parole from a previous robbery conviction.) He disobeyed the cops when he finally did pull over. He resisted arrest. And he struck an officer. The police responded with police brutality. Luckily for him, he probably did not feel a thing since he was so incredibly drunk and high. Not to mention that he won a multi million dollar lawsuit against the city. The incident sparked massive riots resulting in the deaths of more than 50 people and more than a BILLION dollars in damage, which the taxpayers paid for. Finally, for the rest of his life, he continued to get high, drunk, and arrested numerous more times.

So yeah, hats off to Rodney King... a real stand up guy

You sound like a white brat from LA. Or a Cop.

I recall bringing it up once, in a post about a racially motivated beating. Did I miss something? Am I posting in my sleep again?

Oh, look..."The Hills" is on MTV2. Maybe you could go watch it or something.

The beating was racially motivated. But my post was not. But yet you responded to my post by bringing up my race (or the race you think I am).

I'd rather watch the real Hills... Beverly Hills... Beverly Hills 90210 that is. And not the shitty new series, the original. And then let's not forget Melrose Place right after. And I'm not ashamed to admit it either.

Then it's settled. You're a gay white cop from LA

No, sorry. Probably had better things to do.

I have seen this movie before though, and the ending is fairly predictable.

Seems he was found drowned in a pool. You uh, wouldn't happen to know anything about that, would you?

The one where they movie you off the forum in a couple weeks.

But hey, I left my hat on too. Though I'd watch every episode of Beverly Hillbillies a hundred times before watching a minute of Beverly Hills 90210. For any and every minute of it.

If I remember right, there were loads of girls that watched that when it was on, so you have nothing to be ashamed of.

Metroduck puts "hats off to" in every post announcing a famous person's death. It's kinda his thing.
You might not be old enough to remember, but the whole Rodney King thing was a pretty big deal
in America

Reginald Denny got the worst of it. Well, actually the people that died did but he's still living with the damage. Bobby Green and the handful of others that finally came to his rescue are some of the real heroes from that day.
