Could you use TigerSHARCs for MAME?

I'm asking to get a general idea of their use outside of commercial or whatever applications. I have a piece of gear coming that uses two, though.

You probably could put them to some use, but the work expended would pay off a lot wider if you instead targeted multi-core x86 with a DX10+ GPU (which as of Ivy Bridge and AMD Fusion it's basically impossible not to have).
