Nitpick...Didn't mention DONKEY KONG cereal. Granted, it was Captain Crunch in barrel shapes, but the box art alone is worth the mention.
I know he did mention cereal in geenral, and did specify a few, but Donkey Kong cereal was a big one.
Right next to Pac-Man cereal of course...Chomp-Chomp, delicious!

That's a late-model Super Famicom - first revision SuFami looked just like Euro/Aus/NZ SNES.

That still weirds me out... I never owned a SNES, but I logged plenty of time on them at friends' houses. If you had asked me cold what color the SNES buttons were, I would have sworn they were the four colors.

I actually prefer the different colors of purple on the SNES. Too me it looks way better. I guess I only say that though because it's what I grew up with

Yeah, no shit, huh?? I was flustered enough to almost not check for someone else noticing the same thing.
That really is a video gaff, because it displays an 'unreality' of the game that I can see turning into some ridiculous folklore with the kiddies, similar to the likes of 'finishing the Pac-Man kill screen'!

Yeah, but does the plastic on the Euro models turn green with age?

No, just stays the same grey forever.

I used an Ascii auto-fire controller on my SNES that had the SFC 4-color buttons (and was somewhat more ergonomic), so I'm used to that
