PSX arcade bug
#283893 - 04/26/12 09:53 AM Attachment: zn_glitch.jpg 95 KB (2 downloads)

I don’t if someone has already report this bug.
Since a few u releases and at least in the full 145 release, some parts of the text layers show graphical glitch (“zig-zag”-like behaviour) as shown below.

From my testing, these glitches are present in the zn and taitogn drivers but not in the namco s11 and s12 ones.

Thanks for reading.
Cheers

Deleting the NVRAM and config files usually is a step forward, that or trying a brand new build.

To his credit, his screenshots here actually make sense to me regarding the problem. I couldn't understand it from the ones currently at MT.

It's ok, I know what the problem is & I know what "fix" broke it.

I'm not seeing the bug from the screen shots in games
Shinobi and Shadow Dancer on my end here.

This thread is about games on PlayStation hardware, all of which exhibit a common flaw. If Sega had that in 1986, Nintendo doesn't know how lucky they were ;-)

That aside, I don't see any such problems in those games. Turn off HLSL if you're using it and see if that's the cause.
