Emulating a P1 60mhz CPU

With ref to RB's comment about emulating a 400mhz CPU, what about a 60mhz Pentium CPU?
Prediction - is that achievable at any reasonable speed?
Curious in relation to MESS.

With a DRC, yes. Note that Killer Instinct is 93 MHz and runs well on even 2.0 GHz machines nowadays.

Exciting times owning a PC in early 90's, seeing all the new developments as they happened.
Everyone I knew who had any interest in gaming back then, was jealous of my AMD 586 overclocked to 100mhz. Was so much cheaper than an Intel chip :P
