Rebuilt mame cabinet and can't remember
#283346 - 04/21/12 02:56 AM

Rebuilt mame cabinet and can't remember how to prevent my x-arcade joystick from locking out when the controller is held is position longer than a few seconds? I have a windows vista PC and when I first build the machine on XP I know there was a setting somewhere that would prevent the keyboard from assuming it is stuck? Refresh my memory

I keep trying that... but no luck. I've put a new computer in my cocktail table and can't remember the setting.

Nope... turned them on and off again. Still happening.
I opened a text document and joystick right... bunch of 6666666 until it locks out?

I know it's a setting somewhere!

Weird, I've never heard of that... Have you looked for a setting in the BIOS? I would think something like that would be in there. It's definitely not a Windows setting, none of my machines do it.

Another forum says its the ps2/usb adapter I use... I think I had this problem and had a work around... I'm making progress though.
