Antimatter swords can still cut but I would say the ability to stop it all by uttering "computer freeze program" constitutes some safety mechanic. Or was that a quote?

Starfleet QA was clearly not up to the task, that computer on the Enterprise was pretty buggy if you ask me.

In addition to the "computer, freeze program" command - I think they should've had (or should if it's in the future) include the words "Oh shit!"... You know, since you might not always have time to utter those 3 words in a life or death situation.
