tried to upgrade and faced problems mameplus!

Hi all,
I have a huge mame collection. It took me a long while to obtain this collection. I was using an older version of mame. So yesterday I put my shmups to the side and thought it would be good to upgrade. I honestly can't remember what version I was using, it might have been 139, or something to that degree.
After the upgrade, some of my favourite games weren't working anymore, apparently some were now missing rom files. So I downloaded clrmamepro, thinking it might fix my problems, i tried to scan and fix my directory to make it compatible with the new mame version, to no avail, i still experienced errors like this:
"Illegal value for driver_config = neod eeprom-donpachi.u10 NOT FOUND peel18cv8p-15.u18 NOT FOUND ERROR: required files are missing, the game cannot be run."
My question is:
Where can I find older versions of "MAME plus!"?
And is there a efficient way of fixing missing files?
I am well aware of the rules, I am not asking for missing files, just whether an older version of MAME plus could be obtained, or a method of replacing missing files on my own that won't take thousands of hours editing directories and auditing games with the new mame.
Thank you

@Robbert Thank you very much for the archives, I will try to find the version that worked for my files.
@B2K24 Thanks for the advice, I'm going to try Gameex and QMC2, it's always good to have alternatives. I actually wanted to see whether there existed better gui's than plus!. the reason I use mame plus! is because of freezes that I'd experienced in other guis, but that was a very long time ago, things have changed in the mame community.

In answer to this aspect of your question:
If clrmamepro says you're still missing files after an audit and rebuild, then you have to source those files.
No, there's no more efficient way than this.
I am unable to endorse any other way of sourcing files than obtaining them from the original arcade circuit boards that you own.

I'm going to source the files, I think it's about time for an upgrade, I was running mame 122 lol.
