Bug in fantasy zone (sound)?

In Fantasy Zone (fantzone, fantzone1, fantzonep & shinfz) the sound is not fluid and some notes are repeats out of time. Is a bug

what version of mame are u using?
ps. probably doesnt help much as it's not an official build, but i just did a test of fantasy zone level one using mameuifx .145 and didnt have any problems with sound or music (no skipping/stuttering/repeating etc)

Tested in mameui32 & 64 0.143, 0.144, 0.145 using the default configuration and others configurations, other games like parodius are ok.
I've just tested the game on mameuifx and the bug is there too.

Check your framerate, is it possible that you're not running at 100%? If you're in the high 90s, the game may look OK but the sound will be glitchy as you describe.

im happy to do some more tests, can you describe the bug a bit more so i can really listen out carefully. is it a bug with sound fx, music, or both? does it definitely happen on level 1 after playing for say, 5 minutes? and just to confirm, is it a case of some notes/sound stuttering/repeating?
