Missing init sound in Tailgunner

From MAME 0.79u2 - 0.87u2 the hypersp.wav is playing on startup in Tailgunner (Cinematronics 1979).
But since MAME 0.87u3 not any more. Was this removed? There are many changes to the driver in 0.87u3.
BTW the slaser.wav sounds very lousy since MAME 0.145u1.

What do you mean by "playing at startup"
Do you mean in game, or during attract mode?
All of the sounds play appropriately on my PC.

There is a note about laser fire not playing properly and after reviewing the comments on mametesters, I agree.
I have some ideas about how that could be fix.

I'll look into getting a fresh recording during my next warehouse run.

Right after pressing OK in MAME 0.87u2 the hypersp.wav sound was played. And it was in 0.87u3
and not u4. Sorry for it!
