Creating CDs with new CHDMAN

Been trying to copy some of my PS1 games to CHD to use in mess but I'm having trouble with the new CHDMAN. I've tried specifing the .cue file, but it crashes upon pressing enter. If I enter the bin, it glitches and halts.
I swear it supported cue files, but now I can't seem to make the discs eitherway. Any tips?
