Were it in Brazil I would be all over it... everything that happen to be here is overpriced or already rotten.

It's too bad the environment was so corrosive, because the machines themselves don't seem to have much wear, e.g. the sideart is mostly pristine. Metal control panels and bits can be cleaned up, but I have to think a lot of the electronics are shot to hell.

"Epic" is overused on the Internet, but it's fully justified this time. A rotting land-bound ship and you have to use a giant crane to get the games out? Fantastic, and hopefully some of those games get running again.

If it was in Brazil there would be a 1000 people living in the ship.

Great job: I love reading about Darth's road-trips for old games, always entertaining, esp. the galaxian 3 quest.

I don't think so, it would probably be about to sink and full of toxic waste coming from first world countries.

And yet there would still be people living on it.

Sorry, I really would like to carry on the joke, but it's just too depressing when reality sounds like one...

I don't know the details of who ended up with what, but it's ukvac so anything worth saving will be fine.

Considering all of the trouble they went to (hiring a *crane* FFS!), I can't see any of these cabs being butchered into CrapMAME monstrosities.

Yeah you're right.
There's one thing I've learned during my six years here, you have to either find a way to laugh at these things, or help if you can.

There is an occupied house down the street from where I live. At the bottom floor a young woman takes care of 6-8 neighborhood kids, at the top floor is a crack den. Last year some crackhead and his dog died in a fire while sleeping there.
We give them food, clothes and even furniture. My wife went upstairs and saw the room that had been on fire. The dog was just a black spot on the floor under a barely standing burnt-out table, the dude was in the bed, straight as a floor board. Everything black. Downstairs the kids were playing.

Nope. Only the first one seems to be selectable in MAME.

In Cinemat.c there is only Tail Gunner which means Tail Gunner 2 isn't emulated.

Also Subelectro's Meteoroid, appears not to be emulated either. I look at related names on AntoPisa's place. Currently makes two games saved and hopefully preserved in the amazing rescue. If the two cabs (pcbs) still work, hopefully the two games can be emulated later.
